ORIGINALS
In 2009, NIADA artist Heather Maciak and her husband
moved to Vancouver Island on the West Coast of Canada.  

Heather's new studio features
an inspiring view of grassy meadows strewn with daisies
and a stand of old-growth forest,
beyond which is the ocean.  

Heather's creations have taken on a new dimension,
as she works to bring life to each figure,
and to tell a story with each vignette.
